Self-Help: Log Book Status Lollipops

The Log Book status lollipops have been updated recently! Besides the concept of action plans being added into the mix, some lollipops have been combined, and all of them have been upgraded with click functionality to show more details and allow you to view related documents and modals. Here is an example of the new lollipop details functionality.

Here is a listing of all of the current status lollipops along with an explanation of their different phases.

SC - Specimen Created is 100% when both the specimen has been created and the labels have been printed. It will only be 50% if labels for the specimen have not been printed.

RC - Ready for Courier is 100% when the specimen has been scanned into a package and is awaiting a courier to deliver it to the lab.

CP - Courier Picked Up is 100% once the specimen is scanned for pick up by the courier.

SR - Specimen Received is 100% when the lab scans the specimen in for drop off by the courier.

RR - Results Received is 100% when the practice receives results from the lab via HL7 or by uploading a results document.

AP - Action Plan is 100% when an action plan has been specified by the provider. This status lollipop has three phases. Shortly after lab results come into the system, the specimen is assigned to the provider which sets this status at 33%. Then, once the provider views the results document and signs off on it, the lab order will be considered provider reviewed and the Action Plan status will be 66% for the specimen. The final phase that gets the status lollipop to 100% is by assigning an action plan for the specimen.

PN - Patient Notified is 100% when a follow-up has been scheduled or, if a follow-up is not required by the action plan, when the notification status of the patient has been set to notified on the Notify Patient modal. Patient Notified can be 50% if a follow-up is required and a patient has been notified but a follow-up appointment has not been scheduled.

✔ - Case Closed is 100% once the status of the lab order has been marked as completed in the Close Cases modal.
