Complete.MD Web Portal Release 8-24-2023
The latest release brings essential improvements and bug fixes to enhance user experience and functionality. Fixes include email change and login redirection issues, patient-notified settings, and interface responsiveness. In appointments, a more efficient workflow has been implemented. Billing and claims improvements encompass refined provider categorization, smoother ERA search, enhanced payment allocation interface, and better navigation. Calendar, lab order results, patient portal, medical assistant, and logbook sections have been optimized for usability and design. Patient search, registration, and payer pages also see enhanced functionality. Notably, a provider auto-reply feature enhances patient care. - Email Change Bug Fix
- Resolved an issue that was causing problems when attempting to change email addresses
- Login Redirection Issue Resolved
- Fixed an issue where users were occasionally redirected back to the login page after successful login instead of being taken to the home page.
- Issue Resolved with Patient Notified Value Setting
- Fixed an issue related to the Patient Notified value not being correctly set.
- Responsiveness Issue Resolved
- Resolved the issue in Portal related to responsiveness and scaling on small screens.
- Navbar/Toolbar Alignment Issue Resolved
- Aligned the portal's navbar/toolbar to fix the misalignment issue.
- Improved Admin Page Navigation
- Enhance Select Tags (ESTs) have been integrated into the portal, and a new admin page access button has been introduced to streamline navigation and data management.
Appointment
- Improved Appointment Types Page Workflow
- New rows are now added at the top of the list, optimizing the user experience and making the process more efficient.
Billing/Claims
- Enhanced Referring Provider Drop-down with Categorization
- The Referring Provider Drop-down now categorizes providers into "Practice" and "External" groups. This update addresses incorrect provider selection by Billing Clerks and staff. Providers within the practice are prominently positioned at the top, and a warning appears when selecting an external provider, promoting accurate choices.
- Added a "Load More Results" to the bottom of the external provider search dropdown.
- After performing a search, you can click the row at the bottom to load up more results.
- Once all results have been loaded, the "Load More Results" row will disappear.
- Validated NDC Code Entry
- As part of the setup process, NDC code entry has been upgraded with validation, guaranteeing precise and mistake-free data input.
- Smoother ERA Search Experience
- The ERA Search Payer functionality has been optimized to reset after each search automatically. This improvement eliminates persistent parameters across consecutive searches, creating a more user-friendly user experience.
- Interface Design Enhancement for Allocate Payment Function
- Enhancements have been made to the user interface (UI) design of the "Allocate Payment" function, specifically focusing on refining the presentation of the Payment Type buttons.
- Easier Navigation for Payment Search Results
- Enhancements have been made to simplify the process of navigating through payment search results. This improvement ensures a smoother experience when accessing and reviewing relevant information.
- Resolution for Missing Claim Action and Claim Field Records
- An issue causing the absence of claim action and claim field records has been fixed, ensuring their proper creation and management.
- Enhanced Default Display of Insurance Information in Claims
- Addressed issues related to claim handling by resolving the odd behavior where insurance information wasn't displayed by default upon loading a claim.
- Resolution for Patient Insurance Details Disappearance
- Fixed a rare issue in which the insurance details for the patient disappeared after making changes to the claim.
- Check Number Validation Enhancement
- Implemented a validation enhancement allowing check numbers to include characters, ensuring that the validation for check numbers is now correctly accommodated.
- Additional Address Lines on Edit Payer Plan Screen
- An additional address line has been added to the Edit Payer Plan screen, resulting in a total of three address lines. This enhancement enables more comprehensive and accurate entry of payer plan addresses.
Calendar
- Calendar Page Enhancements
- The Weeks Tab within the Calendars Page has been improved by resolving pop-up overlay issues. Additionally, the Days Tab now facilitates more effective date selection, preventing choosing dates that wouldn't function properly and showing an error if an invalid date is selected.
- Excision Appointments Weekly Report
- Weekly reports detailing excision appointments have been implemented, providing comprehensive insights into appointment trends.
Lab Order Results
- New Excel File Icon Update
- The icon for Excel files has been refreshed to a heartbeat symbol on a piece of paper, aligning with the current icon used in the reports section.
- Simplified Lab Report Export to PDF
- Designed a feature allowing the export of lab reports to PDF for all orders within search results, creating a downloadable, printable combined PDF file. Positioned the "Export Lab Reports" button conveniently alongside the existing export function.
- Expanded Export Options for Lab Results Search
- Additional export options have been incorporated into the Lab Results search page. These options now include Pathology Results and Reports for both the current page and all pages.
- Improved Bulk Lab Order Results Report
- An enhancement has been made to the Bulk Lab Order results report. Now, when a lab order is not present, a blank page is displayed with the lab order number, ensuring that the report provides comprehensive information even in cases of missing lab orders.
- Export Functionality Issue Resolution
- Fixed sort order on merged reports.
- Fixed icons on merged reports.
- PDF Export Bug Fix for Log Book
- Addressed issue for sort order not being adjusted in PDF and Excel after a user changes the default value.
- Resolved the missing parameter in Exclude Closed Cases.
Patient Portal
- New features have been introduced to enhance the patient appointment scheduling process. A new tile/card-based selection method for doctors or locations has been implemented, streamlining the appointment booking process. - Refined Medical Assistant Page
- The user interface (UI) design of the Medical Assistant page has been improved, and various workflow issues have been addressed.
Outgoing/Incoming Logbook
- New Date Options for Logbook Search
- New date options for Logbook search were added, including filters for 90 days or older, 30 days or older, and 60 days or older. This enhancement provides users with convenient time-based filtering choices to streamline their search process.
- Lab Order View Enhancement
- Implemented a new feature that allows users to view lab orders with scheduled follow-ups easily. This was achieved by introducing an additional filter option within the existing date range checkbox, enabling users to filter by the "Scheduled Follow Up" status alongside their selected date range.
- Logbook Search Flexibility
- Users can now choose to exclude closed orders when conducting searches.
- Unified Modal Style for Logbook Details Pages
- Updated the modals accessible through the Outgoing / Incoming Logbook Details pages to match the current control style of the website.
- Case Closed Resolutions Added to LogBook
- Added Case Closed Resolutions to Details tab in Outgoing LogBook
- Enhanced Package Number Input on Incoming Logbook Page
- The package number input on the Incoming Logbook page has been updated to allow the input of both letters and numbers. This improvement enhances the flexibility and accuracy of entering package numbers.
- Resolved Outgoing Logbook Printing Issues
- Fixed the problem related to the ProviderID list in outgoing logbook printing.
- Error Fix for Commas in Case Closed Column
- Addressed the problem causing errors when adding commas to the case closed column.
Patient Search
- Mailing Address Filter Enhancement
- Users can now efficiently sort and manage data by filtering through mailing addresses.
- Streamlined Patient Search Edit Modal
- Saving changes is now possible by hitting enter. Social Security Numbers (SSNs) are accurately formatted and saved, along with the resolution of the non-saving issue. Validation has been implemented to prevent duplicate SSNs, accompanied by clear error messages for clarity.
- Name Change Error Resolved
- An issue was resolved where attempting to change a patient's name to another patient's name resulted in a break. Validation has been implemented to prevent processing errors and handle this situation more effectively.
Patient Registration
- Allergy Section Enhancements
- Fixed issues with the allergy search and improved user interface (UI) design.
- Improved Handling of Excessive Characters in Street Addresses
- Implemented a fix to handle excessive spaces or characters in street address inputs.
- Improved Pre-Registration Wizard for Insurance Card Upload
- A new screen/section in the pre-registration wizard was created that enables patients to upload pictures of their insurance cards conveniently from their homes. This functionality aligns with the screen used by check-in managers in CompleteMD Client, ensuring the loaded information is stored in the database.
- Improved Patient Authorization, Communication and Tracking
- An authorization statement has been introduced to patient forms, allowing streamlined email communication, lab result notifications, and integrated tracking for enhanced patient care.
Payers
- Enhanced Payer Page Navigation
- Users now have the capability to scroll upon accessing the Payer Plans tab, providing a more seamless and user-friendly navigation experience.
Provider Auto-Reply
- In this update, we've introduced an enhanced auto-reply feature to our messaging system, empowering providers to set up customized patient messages. Patients will receive information about appointment hours, availability, and branded messages. This update streamlines message handling within the EHR, enhancing patient care.
