Complete.MD Client v.0.9.225 Release
✨ New & Improved Features
1. Updated Signature Capture Control
Windows 11 updates rendered the legacy components for signature and signing unstable. To ensure long-term compatibility and smoother signing, we replaced these components and rebuilt the entire signature module.
Highlights:
- Fully updated signature control using a modern, supported API
- Larger, clearer signing surface
- More consistent stroke handling (especially on touch devices)
- Improved encryption and storage of signed data
- Updated printing support
- Better event handling inside patient checkout workflows
This update resolves issues where users reported tiny signature windows or the inability to sign after watching a consent video.
2. Improved Signature Error Handling
Some users experienced signature timeouts that resulted in a dead-end error. The updated workflow now:
- Displays a clearer message when a timeout occurs
- Allows the user to retry without restarting the entire workflow
- Reduces occurrences of “signature capture failed” screens
- Prevents workflow lock-ups after an error
3. Claim Form Fixes
We corrected how practice and location names are displayed on certain claim forms.
These changes ensure claim forms reflect the correct practice labeling requirements for each organization.
🛠️ Additional Performance & Stability Improvements
- Code cleanup removing outdated Microsoft.Ink references
- Improved integration between the signature control and biometric provider
- Small UI consistency updates across patient checkout screens
- Minor backend optimizations to reduce client freezes during signature events
📥 No Action Required, but Recommended
To ensure you receive the updated components:
- Fully exit and relaunch the Complete.MD desktop client
- Sign out and back in to the web portal
- If your site uses shared devices or signature pads, verify they initialize correctly after the update
